Five Mediterranean Island Destinations
LifeXperiences offers five island destinations in the Mediterranean: the Balearic Islands in the western Mediterranean and Malta in the central Mediterranean.
Mallorca
Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, offers excellent flight connections to many European destinations throughout the year. With its variety of venues, landscapes, hotels and experiences, it is one of the most versatile destinations for incentive travel and corporate events. Mallorca is also home to our head office, where LifeXperiences started in 2006.
Ibiza & Formentera
Ibiza’s corporate event season is mainly focused from May to October, offering the opportunity to combine professional programmes with the island’s legendary lifestyle, beach clubs and nightlife during the summer months.
Formentera, Ibiza’s smaller sister island, has no airport and is best reached by boat. It is particularly attractive as a day excursion, giving teams the chance to enjoy turquoise waters, island charm, paradise-like beaches and relaxed beach restaurants.
Menorca
Menorca, the northernmost of the Balearic Islands, is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and an excellent choice for smaller conferences, executive retreats and coaching formats. With its slower rhythm, boutique countryside hotels, beautiful coastline and charming port towns such as Ciutadella and Mahón, Menorca offers a refined and peaceful setting for meaningful corporate experiences. The main MICE season runs from May to October.
Malta
Last but not least, Malta is located near Sicily in the central Mediterranean and is a strong year-round destination. Its mild winter climate allows incentive programmes and corporate events well into December and again from January onwards. Thanks to its compact size, rich culture, historic venues, modern event infrastructure and good international flight connections, Malta is the perfect stage for meetings, conferences and incentive travel throughout the year.
