Turn into a scout and discover navigation skills as a team during the orienteering challenge. Having an ideal team building element means that orienteering requires coordination and communication in order to discover the right way with only a compass and some coordinates. Orienteering promises fun, a bit of a challenge, improved cooperation and raised team spirit among participants.

Orienteering - The intensive nature experience

During the orienteering challenge, participants will have a pure experience in nature. According to group specifics, the route can either guide them through an old olive grove or along the coast accompanied by views of the sea. There are no limits to the imagination, the orienteering challenge can also easily be utilised as a team-building element in another activity of the guests' trip to the island - and can be prepared as an activity on the sea. LifeXperiences team members will be with the group at all times and make sure that each team makes its way through the Parcours independently from the other teams.

Navigating and deducing correctly? The key to successful orienteering

After a briefing, the teams must try to discover the correct path in a given Parcours. Equipped with a compass and a notepad, the challenge is to find this path only with the help of a few details such as the longitude, latitude and distance. If the team deduces correctly, they are rewarded with key letters at several control stations throughout the game. These letters, arranged in the correct order will promise the victory of the day. Orienteering requires true team spirit under time pressure with the experience of a fun-filled day.

Combine orienteering with other activities, which you can find in our programme, and design your professional teambuilding day based on your needs and wishes. Add raft building, a beach Olympics or a Paella cooking workshop to round the day off - or integrate the orienteering challenge with a Jeep Island Rally based on our GPS iPad Challenge. Another option would be a delicious open-air BBQ lunch.
